Welcome to NightWings Foundation

Habitat conservation
and restoration

NightWings Foundation was originally established to support conservation initiatives that specifically benefit Australia’s flying-foxes and microbats. From a broader perspective, every effort to protect bats and preserve habitat ultimately benefits humans.

Our Mission

Bat conservation
and positive promotion

Our philanthropic objective is primarily to support projects that enhance essential bat roosting and feeding habitat. Assistance may also be offered to other initiatives that demonstrate a benefit to bats.

Our Vision
Increased public awareness, understanding and appreciation of the importance of bats – the real stars in Australia’s night sky.

Bats are protected native wildlife in Australia.  It is an offence to kill or injure them, or to interfere with their roosts.
